The NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) is a set of best practices and recommendations from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to help organizations understand, manage and reduce their cybersecurity risk. Instructor: Joshua Pishon, Deputy Director, ACL
Joshua Pishon is the Deputy Director of the Advanced Communications Lab (ACL) for NineTwelve. He has worked in the field of IT, Cyber Security, and Advanced Networking over the last six years. Pishon graduated from Indiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in information technology and has certifications in Testout PC Pro, Testout Security Pro, CPCNA, and CPCNP. In addition to working in operations and management for the ACL network, he works in customer support and relations and has experience working with federal contracting in the nonprofit space. Pishon’s prior experience also includes GDPR compliance and cyber threat analysis. Additionally, he has worked as an instructor for the Cyber Security Certification Academy where he taught classes on CompTIA A+, Net+, and Sec+ certifications.
